Functions:

PTFE membrane on the caps

Priming filter caps are primarily air-venting caps. The PTFE film on the protective cap is a natural hydrophobic material with no fiber shedding and good hydrophobicity, which can be used in any environment.They allow the passage of the air entrapped in the intravenous tubing, meanwhile isolate the intravenous fluid from the outside environment and prevent the entry of vicious micro-organisms and contaminants through the open distal end of the intravenous line, and thus help to minimize the risk of infections.
