PVDF Cut Disc Membrane Filters from XINNA are plain white filters made of premium polyvinylidene fluoride materials. They are naturally hydrophobic but we are highly specialized in processing them into hydrophilic type to cater to more diverse needs. When it comes to instructions for use, sterilizing the filtration of a liquid through PVDF membrane filter discs with 0.22µm porosity is an effective way for sterilization, removal of biological contaminants and complete bacterial retention. For more general applications, where larger biological contaminants need to be retained, liquid filtration through PVDF membranes with 0.45 μm (or larger) pore sizes may be used to trap and support microorganism growth for subsequent culture and analysis.

Packing and Shipping

Membrane disc filters are properly packaged in polyester bags or cases with quantity and label specified as requested by customer. Each pack is then safely sealed before put into a carton, and surrounded by protective air bag in the carton to avoid possible damange during ground, air, or Water Shipping.
