WI-X Mechanical Set Retrievable Packer For Oil & Gas Well Production Service

The WI-X Double-grip Packer is the mechanical setting packer, which is able to set with tension or compression that holds pressure from above or below the packer. Once setting, the downhole string can be left in tension, compression or neutral situation. A large internal bypass of the retrievable packer can reduce the packer swabbing effect during running, retrieving, and closing when the packer is set.

Features and Benefits:

• Below and 7 5/8 packers rated for differential pressures up to 10,000 psi;
• Bypass valve is below the upper slip, and it opens before release of upper slips for safety and ease of release;
• The tubing can remain compressed, free, or tensioned after setting;
• Only 1/4 right turnto set and release this packer;
• Converting it for wireline-setting applications is simple and inexpensive.
