The LNK-XS1208 Series 10Gigabit Data Center Switch is a layer 2,
non-blocking model from Broadcom chips. It boasts a 258Gbps
switching capacity and 192Mpps forwarding performance, able to
handle any L2 and L3 full wire-speed forwarding needs. Its flexible
networking capability ensures a reliable and balanced connection.
Furthermore, with its modular design it provides 12 10G SFP+
optical ports, 8 10/100/1000M RJ45 electrical ports, 1 Console
port, and 1 OOB management port to ensure an abundance of bandwidth
for data aggregation and data exchange.
The practicality of the switch is enhanced by allowing users to
select the appropriate 10G port according to their precise
requirements. With its high bandwidth and low latency, it promises
accurage pipe networking.
Moreover, this switch is extremely versatile, as it is perfect for
the densities of a next generation data center and cloud computing
network access, but is also suitable for large-scale internet
cafes, core enterprise networks, metropolitan area networks, and
for aggregation.
