High Way Roller Barrier Anti Crash Eva Material Roller Guardrail
The Rolling Barrier Guardrail System is new generation guardrail
which combines rotating barrels made from the energy-absorbing
co-polymer Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), with a proprietary steel
guardrail, to create the world’s safest roadside and median
barrier.
The Rolling Barrier Guardrail was built with maintenance as a
primary concern. A modular design comprised of D-shaped steel
rails, round steel-posts with EVA shock-absorbing barrels, and
frame rail lockers means that after incidents, individual parts can
be replaced without compromising the entire system thus reducing
maintenance costs.
The guardrail is composed of columns, rotating cylinder, u-beam and
connecting parts. All steel components are treated with hot-dip
galvanized anti-rust treatment.The vertical column is separated by
1m or 0.7m, and two rotating cylinders are installed on each
vertical column. This rotating cylinder takes EVA as the main
material, and 17 auxiliary materials such as PE and related
chemical additives are added.Continuous working temperature is
between 60 ° and 70 °.These kinds of guardrails are usually
installed on the ramp, continuous downhill and curved road of the
expressway. When a vehicle hits a guardrail, the rotation function
of the rotating cylinder itself and the good resilience of the
cylinder body can greatly reduce the injury degree of the vehicle
and the driver, and play a good protective role.There is a
reflective strip on the rotating cylinder, and the evening star
stone can reflect the outline of the route better through the light
irradiation, which can play a good line of sight induction effect
on the vehicle and further guarantee the safety of the vehicle.

performance as compared to traditional road safety barrier
products. Crash test results showed minimal to no damage to the
Rolling Barrier Guardrail after impact which can be attributed to
its energy-distributing design. Minimal damage combined with its
modular component-based design will reduce overall maintenance
costs.
Reflective strips can be pasted on the rotating barrel to warn
drivers at night. When the driver drives to an area without lights
or the lights are too dark, the reflective strip can refract the
light, thereby reminding the driver to drive safely.
