The circular test specimen is fixed on the opening of a test bottle containing a certain amount of solid desiccant of the water vapor permeability testing machine, and the desiccant inside the bottle and the air outside the bottle are separated by the test specimen, and by turning on the water vapor permeability testing machine to make the test bottle rotate and make the air disturbed by the rotation of the fan, the desiccant which is constantly in motion absorbs the water vapor through the test specimen, and the quality size of the desiccant absorbing the water vapor is evaluated to assess the water vapor permeability performance of the test material by weighing the test bottle in a certain period of time. In a certain period of time, the water vapor permeability performance of the test material is evaluated by weighing the mass size of water vapor absorbed by the desiccant in the test bottle.
