The socket, also referred to as a Type 2 outlet, complies with the
IEC62196-2 standard and is the recognized standard for connecting
and charging Electric Cars in Europe.
This socket features connectors made of silver-plated brass,
capable of supporting currents up to 32 amperes. In a three-phase
configuration, this allows for a maximum power output of 22 kW.
Connections:
The socket is designed to accommodate both stranded and solid
wires. It is equipped with user-friendly screw terminals,
eliminating the need for special tools during installation.
There are a total of 7 terminals:
CP – Communication Pilot – 1 mm²
PP – Proximity Pilot – 1 mm²
PE – Protective Earth – 6 mm²
