Grade specification of 1.4028
Chromium grade martensitic stainless steel, which is resistant to
corrosion in moderately aggressive environment, water, salt
solutions, dilute solutions of nitric acid. It has very extensive
properties, so that it can be used in many ways. It does not change
its chemical properties after contact with water, salt solution,
nitric acid and in combination with other ingredients such as
organic acids, soaps and solvents.

Application of 1.4028/30Cr13 Materials
Stainless steel is used in the manufacture of shafts, pistons,
valves, bolts, springs, surgical instruments, measuring
instruments, moulds for castings. It is used in the automotive
industry, plastics processing, surgery and medicine. In addition,
it has a very wide range of applications in construction,
hydraulics and food industry.
Stainless steel 1.4028 is used for the production of components
that are exposed to acids, solutions or water. This is why
stainless steel is used in hydraulics (it is used to manufacture
parts for sewerage systems). In addition, this steel grade is also
