Trough rollers are mainly used in environments with high dust and
high corrosiveness in the open air. The various types of rollers we

often used in transportation places.
The influence of the radial runout of the idler on the belt
conveyor: within the specified runout range, the belt conveyor can
be kept running smoothly, otherwise it will cause the belt conveyor
belt to resonate and jump, causing material toss, polluting the
environment, and speeding up the belt. The higher the value, the
more beneficial the radial runout is smaller. The standard amount
in my country is 0.7 mm, and the amount specified in the Japanese
JIS standard is 0.5 mm.
Features of trough rollers
1. The trough-shaped roller has the characteristics: acid, alkali
and salt are not corrosive to it.
2. The groove-shaped roller has strong hardness: strong.
3. Good airtightness: the trough roller is fully sealed, with
plastic labyrinth sealing rings at both ends, oil and grease will
not leak, which can keep the rolling shaft for a long time; the
trough roller is running in a fully sealed state.
4. The ceramic surface of the trough roller: an oxide film is
formed, the surface is smooth, does not adhere to the material, and
the friction coefficient in contact with the conveyor belt is
small, which reduces the driving force of the winding.
5. Long service life of trough rollers: trough rollers are 2-5
times longer than steel rollers, and can reduce belt wear, belts do
not run sideways, and extend belt service life.
6. Low operating cost: trough rollers can reduce the overall cost
of belt conveyors and reduce maintenance man-hours.
