What's red light therapy?

Red Light Photodynamic Therapy is a skin care treatment being offered as an alternative to physician-administered laser therapy. Most studies involving red light therapy revolve around the treatment of acne, rosacea, and of its ability to get rid of wrinkles. While research is not yet conclusive on the benefits of red light therapy, studies suggest that concentrated red light is absorbed by the mitochondria in the cells and stimulates the generation of more collagen.

Why 660nm?

One of the most optimized wavelengths for light therapy, this product emits highly focused beams of 660nm red light – ensuring maximum effects in the red range. Light in the 660nm-680nm range is very potent at biological stimulation.

The spectrum ranges from some orange-red light (620nm) all the way up to the edge of infrared (700nm), with peak wavelengths designed to coincide exactly with our peak absorption at around 660nm.

Why 850nm?

The spectrum ranges throughout the highly effective 800-900nm infrared range, from a small amount of 800nm light all the way up to 890nm, with peak 850nm wavelengths designed to coincide exactly with our peak absorption.

How to use?
Distance: Apply from 0 – 2 meters
Session Time: Continue for 2 – 15 minutes, depending on distance
