Throttle cable adjustment method
1. The end of the throttle cable is tied to the throttle. From the
throttle to the throttle cable fixing frame this distance, it is
found that the cable is not completely tensioned. The steel wire
cable has a certain deflection.
2. if you want to reduce the throttle virtual position, that is to
say, the deflection is reduced, the adjustment mechanism is on the
fixed frame of the throttle cable. The specific adjustment method
has been broken down in detail in the figure above, but some points
need to be noted here. You can try not to adjust the range too much
each time, and check the deflection of the wire cable after
adjustment. It is best to control it within the appropriate range.
If it is too tight, it may increase the idle speed.
3. If the car is an electronic throttle, it can not be adjusted by
itself, because the stroke of the throttle pedal after adjustment
and the opening angle of the throttle is not corresponding to the
records stored in the engine computer in advance, and the
adjustment position is near the throttle pedal, so it is necessary
to go to the repair shop to match the throttle with special
instruments.
Structural components
The electronic throttle control system is mainly composed of the
throttle pedal, pedal displacement sensor, ECU (electronic control
unit), data bus, servo motor, and throttle actuator.
The displacement sensor is installed inside the accelerator pedal
to monitor the position of the accelerator pedal at any time. When
a change in the height and position of the accelerator pedal is
detected, the information will be immediately sent to the ECU,
which will calculate and process the information and the data
information from other systems to calculate a control signal, and
the data bus is responsible for the communication between the
system ECU and other ECU.
The electronic throttle system uses the ECU to adjust the throttle,
so the electronic throttle system can be set up to improve the
safety and comfort of driving. On current electronic fuel injection
engines, the electronic throttle can further improve the fuel
economy and emissions performance of the engine because it controls
the engine power regulation gate.
