In the process of using the air compressor, when the tubing is
blocked, there is no oil at the oil supply point. Oil leakage or
oil supply plunger damage at the oil injection point is likely to
occur in front of the blocked pipe section. The serious consequence
is that the air compressor overheating, high temperature failure,
machine necrosis and so on.So what are some of the causes of tubing blockages?How can we prevent this from happening?
1. Before installation, clean the tubing one by one, wipe it with
alkali washing, water washing and white cloth or blow clean with
air with pressure;
2. When the oil pipe of the air compressor is not long enough and
needs to be connected long, the live joint should be installed, or
the method of welding and lengthening by casing should be adopted
to avoid welding slag or molten metal blocking the pipe;
3. When bending the pipe, use the pipe simmering tool for cold
bending or oxy-acetylene flame heating and simmering, attention
should be paid to preventing the simmering flat or metal from
overheating and deformation;
4. After the tubing and oiler are assembled, the strength test of
the system should be carried out, and the test pressure is 1.5
times of the operating pressure. When leakage or rupture is found,
it should be repaired or replaced.
