2. Leader Dredger Dredger Ship Description:
Cutter suction dredgers are usually easy to transport by road, rail
or ship due to their reasonable size and weight of various
removable modules. The complete cutter suction dredger consists of
a main pontoon and two side pontoons, which are mounted on the main
pontoon using heavy-duty steel eyes and pins at the bottom of the
hull, which are connected at deck height. The pontoon is a welded
steel structure with heavy frames, beams and longitudinal beams.
When dredging, if necessary, additional reinforcement can be placed
to withstand all forces. Cutter suction dredgers are widely used
for river silt cleaning, lake and pond decontamination, mining
projects, port cleaning and sand making.
