The cutter suction dredger is often easily designed to be
transported by road, rail or ship due to its reasonable size and
weight of various detachable modules. The complete cutter suction
dredger consists of a main pontoon bridge and two side pontoon
bridges. The two pontoon bridges are installed on the main pontoon
bridge through heavy steel eyes and pins at the bottom of the hull,
and they are connected at the deck height. The pontoon is a welded
steel structure with heavy frames, beams and longitudinal beams.
During the dredging process, if necessary, additional steel bars
can be placed to withstand all the forces. Cutter suction dredgers
are widely used in river silt cleaning, decontamination of lakes
and ponds, mining projects, port cleaning and sand making.
