Principle and Application of Volatile Phenol Analyzer
Volatile phenol is an extremely toxic substance, and even a small
amount consumed by humans can lead to acute poisoning symptoms.
Persistent intake of water contaminated with phenol can result in
various health issues, including headaches, rashes, itching,
anemia, and neurological symptoms. Fish meat develops an unusual
smell when the phenol content in water ranges from 0.1 to 0.2 mg/l,
and at levels exceeding 5 mg/l, fish can die from poisoning.
The principle of measurement involves a reaction in an alkaline
medium, where phenolic compounds in water, in the presence of
potassium ferricyanide, react with 4-aminoantipyrine to form
orange-red compounds. The absorbance of these compounds is
proportional to the volatile phenol content in water, and the
concentration is determined by measuring the absorbance.
This analyzer is suitable for both laboratory and industrial
settings, enabling the testing of water quality in various
environments such as industrial production processes, sewage, urban
domestic wastewater, and surface waters like rivers, lakes, and
seas.
Warranty and maintain services
The warranty period of the purchased products shall be governed by
the sales contract.
Consumables: disposable consumables or perishable materials that
need to be replaced after each use. Consumables have no warranty.
During the warranty period, all products can enjoy free after-sale
service. However, please note that even if the products need to be
repaired due to the following reasons during the warranty period,
the Kacise company will implement a fee-based maintainservice. You
will have to pay for the maintainfee and accessories fee:
Man-made damage;
Improper use;
The voltage of the power network exceeds the prescribed range of
the products;
An irresistible natural disaster;
Replacement or use of parts, accessories, consumables not approved
by the water company or repair by personnel not authorized by the
Water Company;
Other faults not caused by the product itself.
After the expiration of the warranty period, the company can
continue to provide fee-based maintainservices.
If you do not pay or delay to pay the fee for maintainservices, the
company will temporarily suspend maintainservices until you pay.
