Vertical centrifuge is a kind of efficient solid-liquid separation
equipment, which is composed of feeding device, separation system,
filtration silo, discharging silo, transmission system, washing
device and electronic control device.
The whole system of the vertical centrifuge cleverly uses the dual
action of centrifugal force and gravity to realize the continuous
work of the equipment and achieve a high working efficiency.The
slurry enters the centrifuge from the feed port, and is subjected
to the centrifugal force in the separation system. The solids are
intercepted through the filter screen, and the liquid enters the
filter silo through the screen and is discharged from the mother
liquid port.The solid moves downward under the action of gravity
and centrifugal force, and enters the lower section through the
discharge bin.In the process of movement, the washing system is
pumped into the washing liquid to wash the solid.All power is
driven by an electric motor.During the separation process, the
residence time of solids in the separation system can be controlled
by adjusting the feeding speed and the relative positions of each
part of the separation system, so as to meet the specified
requirement of solid water content.
Centrifugal principle
When a suspension containing fine particles is standing still, the
gravity field causes the suspended particles to sink gradually.The
heavier the particle, the faster it sinks, whereas particles that
are less dense than liquid rise.The speed of the particle moving in
the gravitational field is related to the size, shape and density
of the particle, as well as the strength of the gravitational field
and the viscosity of the liquid.Particles the size of red blood
cells, a few microns in diameter, can be observed settling under
normal gravity.
In addition, there is diffusion phenomenon when the material
settles in the medium.Proliferation is unconditional and
absolute.Diffusion is inversely proportional to the mass of the
material, and the smaller the particle, the more serious the
diffusion.The settlement is relative, conditional, to be subjected
to external forces to move.Settlement is proportional to the weight
of the object, and the larger the particle is, the faster it
settles.For particles smaller than a few microns, such as viruses
or proteins, which form colloidal or semi-colloidal states in
solution, it is impossible to observe the sedimentation process
using gravity alone.The smaller the particle is, the slower it
settles, and the more serious the diffusion is.Therefore, it is
necessary to use a centrifuge to generate strong centrifugal force
to force these particles to overcome the diffusion and
sedimentation motion.
Centrifugation is to use the powerful centrifugal force generated
by the high-speed rotation of the centrifuge rotor to accelerate
the settling speed of the particles in the liquid and separate the
substances with different settling coefficients and buoyancy
densities in the samples
The series product has sieve basket diameter of 850mm~1,500mm, and
is mainly used for dehydration of blocky clean coal, middlings and
other similar materials, with 0.5mm~50mm designed feeding granule.
It has advantages of small initial investment and floor area, low
energy consumption, good dehydration effect, low coal crushing
rate, long sieve basket life, convenient operation and maintenance
and low noise, and sieve interval of 0.25, 0.3, 0.35, 0.5, etc.
