Horizontal ribbon mixer consists of transmission parts, double ribbon agitators and U-shape cylinder. In the direction of rotation, the outer ribbon pushes materials from both ends to the middle, while the inner ribbon pushes materials from the middle to both ends. Ribbon wind with different angle direction carries the materials flowing in different directions. Through continuous convective circulation, the materials are sheared.

Product Working Principle

WLDH series horizontal double blade ribbon blender mixer machine consists of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially fabricated agitator. A ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical agitator. The outer ribbon moves materials in one direction and the inner ribbon moves the materials in the opposite direction.The ribbon ratates at approx. 45 RPM moves materials both radially and laterally to insure thorough blends in short cycle times. WLDH series horizontal double blade ribbon blender mixer machine is widely used to mix free-flowing powders, granules, small liquid additives to achieve paste and slurry product in food, chemical, and construction line.

Technical Advantages

1) Strong and fast mixing: Strong and fast mixing can be achieved due to effective drive design and variable speed blending.

2) High-degree of homogeneity: When material is added at the rate of 0.1%, the homogeneity can reach 98% in short time.

3) Heating jacket: A heating jacket can be equipped as an option in the mixing tank shell for heating or drying process. The heating medium can be steam, hot water or hot oil. Design pressure is 0.3 Mpa.

4) Liquid spray nozzle: Spray nozzle can be equipped as an option to add liquid additives which can be evenly sprayed onto the mixture.

5) Well bearing sealing: Shaft sealing is the combination of Teflon packing sealing and air-tight sealing to make sure long life-span.

6) Automatic discharging valve: The combined discharge valve is pneumatic planer flap valve. The flap plate can perfectly match the mixing tank inner wall to make sure no dead corner.

Horizontal ribbon mixer comprises of U-shape barrel,transmisstion parts and ribbon agitating blades which usually have doubleor triple layers with outside screw gathering material from side to center and inside screw transmitting the material from center to sides to form convection mix.
