How to string tomatoes in greenhouse?
Tomato plants grow upwards, making the plant very heavy and the
stem not strong enough to carry the plant. Therefore, it is
important to support the crop by stringing every plant with twine.
From the beginning of the cultivation, young plants are stringed
with twine. Subsequently, each week the twine needs to be twisted
around the lengthening stem of the plant and lateral shoots are
removed. On of that, tomato plants are depending on the type of
crop, lowered frequently. To support the twine, growers also use
trellising clips to support the plant instead of twisting twine.
