Pipe Purge

The internal test target plate is installed in the purge link pipe
or exhaust pipe, as close to the end of the purge pipe as possible,
and on the straight pipe 4-6m away from the elbow.
When using the two-stage purging method, after the first-stage
purging is qualified, the target plate should be removed for the
second-stage purging. It is not advisable to install the target
board at the second stage.
In order to inspect the blowpipe correctly, the target plate should
be polished without visible marks.
After the installation of all equipment in thermal power plants, it
is generally necessary to blow pipes through the boiler to purge
the pipes with steam. The purpose is to remove the debris remaining
in the equipment and pipes during the manufacturing, transportation
and installation of the equipment and pipes, and to prevent the
boiler from overheating during operation The blower and reheater

The working principle of the target board:
