Wedge Wire Flat Screen Introductions
Wedge wire is a welded steel structure, mainly used for filtration,
separation and retention media.
It consists of surface profiles, usually V-shaped, that are
resistance welded onto support profiles. The distance between the
surface profiles is controlled very accurately, as it forms the
slot through which the filtrate flows.

Wedge Wire Flat Screen Features
1. The mechanical strength is high and can withstand high
pressures;
2. The filter gap is uniform, can form a relatively uniform filter
cake, which is conducive to backwash regeneration;
3. The wedge-shaped filter gap can improve the backwash
regeneration ability;
4. Prressure, temperature, anti-aging, anti-corrosion, can be
applied to filter a variety of fluids.
5. The wedge mesh filter(Johnson pipe) are made of metal wedge wire
with Rolling and welding technology, which has the advantages of
high mechanical strength, high pressure resistant, easy flushing
and regeneration, etc. Nearly two-dimensional filter has no dead
spots of particle accumulation, and the wedge-shaped gap is
reversed. The backwashing energy can be gathered when flushing, and
the backwashing effect is good.
