Multi-Flow Evaluator For Open Hole Drill Stem Testing Service​

The Multi-Flow Evaluator is a new approach in drill stem testing service. It improves the control during the testing operation and evaluation of test recovery while providing additional information for reservoir analysis. The MFE consists of three basic sections: indexing, delay, and sampling. Each of these sections will be described in detail below.

The multi-flow evaluator is operated entirely by up and down motion of the drill stem. this up and down operation provides a more positive means of control than any of the other systems now in use and supplies easily observed surface indications of tool position .An unlimited number of shut-in and flow periods may be taken with this tool while in the hole.
