Bagasse Rotary Dryer
Bagasse refers to sugarcane granular waste left after crushing and
pressing. There are 2 to 3 tons of bagasse to produce one ton of
sucrose. Bagasse is rich in cellulose, and less lignin, so bagasse
is great fiber material. Fresh bagasse is irregular loose
particles, low density, poor combustion characteristics,
inconvenient to transport, storage and use. After drying the
density, durability, combustion characteristics of bagasse will be
improved, and easier to transport and storage. The dry cane sugar
residues is good biomass energy.
Bagasse Rotary Dryer can use boiler flue gas drying. Sugar plant boiler flue gas
temperature is usually between 160 ~ 180 ℃, still has a great value
of thermal energy. The hot air will be extracted from the boiler
flue and sent into the dryer by induced draft fan.
Bagasse Rotary Dryer Features:
High thermal efficiency, long drying time, large treatment
capacity. Down-flow in the first stage cylinder, counter-flow in
the second stage cylinder, down-flow in the third stage cylinder,
S-type material transfer trend. Material mixed well with hot air.
What’s more, the higher material moisture content is, the higher
the temperature of hot air could be.
