General description
Vacuum harrow dryer is mainly used for drying explosive material,
material easy to be oxidized, and paste material. It is an
innovation horizontal batch-type vacuum dryer.

Working principle
In the vacuum condition, boiling point of the solvent is
decreased,and air is isolated, it avoids the material from being
oxidized and deterioration. Input heating medium (hot water, hot
oil) into the jacket, and feed damp material into the drying
chamber.Harrow-teethed shaft stirs the material to make the heating
progress uniform. When achieving the drying requirements, open the
discharging valve at the bottom of the chamber, under the stirring
action of the harrow teeth, material moves to the middle and
discharged.
The moisture of wet material will be evaporated by heat
transmission. The stirrer with squeegee will remove material on hot
surface and move in the container to form cycle flow. The
evaporated moisture will be pumped by vacuum pump.
Features
1. Being adapted the big area heating way, its heat conducting area
is large and its heat efficiency is high.
2. Being installed stirrer in the machine, it makes raw material in
cylinder form the state of continuous circle inside the cylinder,
so the uniformity for raw material’s being heated is raised
greatly.
3. Evaporation intensity is high,in general it can evaporate10~15
kg (water)/m2.h.
4.The powder in solvent vapor is filtered by the bag filter, there
is no environmental and product recovery ratio is high.
5. Being installed stirring device in the machine, pulpiness,
paste-like mixture or powder raw materials can be dried easily.
Widely applicable for quick drying. Because the harrow Vacuum Dryer
has jacket that the heating medium will flow into jacket so the
dryer has enough drying area.
7. To increase the drying efficiency, Xiandao design the special
crushing device. During drying process, the crushing device will
break the caking material to powder; Combined with the magnetic
filtration technology, the output product will more purity.
8. Under the vacuum state, the boiling point of the water and
solvent is reduced. Therefore it is suitable for most of materials
with different properties and states. Particularly it is suitable
for material that is easy to explode and oxidize.
9. Low energy consumption .With patented design, Xiandao can ensure
that the temperature of the outside surface of the dryer is 25-35℃;
it will reduce the heating dissipation;
10. The quality of product is good. Because of periodic clockwise
and counterclockwise rotation the material will be uniformly
drying.
11. As optional, the dryer can be combined with cloth bag filter,
solvent recovery unit, product cooling unit ;
12. Advanced mechanical sealing device adopted. Xiandao ensures the
vacuum degree and heating medium without leakage.
13. With PLC module, client can save the processing program.
14. Combined with the magnetic filtration technology, the output
product will achieve higher purity.
15. The electronic systems and their safety should comply with the
requirements set forth in 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP Annex 11; the data
should be collected at appropriate time intervals and stored in the
system in a fixed format that can be printed out/read;
Scope of application
1. The following raw materials from pharmaceutical industry,
foodstuff industry, chemical industry and so on can be dried.
2. Suitable for pulpiness, paste-like mixture or powder raw
material.
Thermal sensitive raw material having the requirement to dry at
lower temperature.
3. Raw materials that are easy to oxidize or explode and have
strong irritative or toxic.
4. Raw materials that need to recover solvent.
