What is an air oil separator?
The air oil separator is an integral part of the air compressor.
They remove all oil from the compressed air and then return it to
the fuel tank to ensure that they get the clean, pollution-free air
they need. When the divider is damaged or damaged, it allows air to
pass through, which can cause serious problems. For example, in the
automotive coatings industry, it is vital to ensure that no oil is
secreted because it can damage the coating work and become harmful
airborne particles.
How do they work?
There are several different types of separators, each of which
removes oil in its own unique way.
- Conventional partitions are made of glass fiber and are wrapped to
remove oil from compressed air.
- The new crimping separator can process twice as much air and adopt
a wave-shaped structure to separate oil.
- The separator of the depth filter also has an enhanced air flow
capability and uses different types of borosilicate glass wrapped
around the pipe to trap oil.
In order to make the air compressor in the best working condition,
the air separator must be replaced as needed. Although the service
life will vary depending on the type, under normal conditions, the
partition can last 4,000 to 6,000 working hours. However, if you
suspect a problem with the divider, please replace it before then.
