Definition:
Corundum Mullite Brick Insulating Mullite Refractory Firebrick is a kind of quality refractory insulation materials for resisting
high temperature with features of light weight, low thermal
conductivity, thermal insulation and high compression strength in
the high temperature furnaces or kilns. lightweight bricks are
mainly used for the top of hot blast stove, stack and bottom of
blast furnace, regenerative chamber of glass melting furnace,
lining of ceramic high temperature furnace and so on.
Corundum Mullite Brick Insulating Mullite Refractory Firebrick is manufactured with mullite as the main crystal phase and
contains about 65~75% alumina content. Mullite Insulation
Refractory Brick has high refractoriness that reaches up to 1790 ℃.
Its apparent initial softening temperature is about 1600~1700 ℃.
Its cold crushing strength is about 70~260MPa.
Corundum Mullite Brick Insulating Mullite Refractory Firebrick can be classified into different types of 1350 lightweight brick,
1450 lightweight brick and 1550 lightweight brick according to
different service temperature and into Lightweight Mullite Brick
and Heavy Mullite Brick according to different bulk density.
Lightweight refractory bricks Advantage:

Application:
Generally suitable for thermal surface refractory lining or other
refractory back lining insulation layer.

ammonia, gas generators and high temperature shuttle kilns.
Tunnel kiln, push board kiln, roller kiln, wood kiln refractory
lining material for industrial and household ceramics.
