Definition:
Silica Insulating Fireproof Bricks are made with raw material high grade bauxite and SiC and special
sintering process. Silica-mullite bricks are characterized by high
density, good performance of abrasion resistance and thermal shock
resistance. It can constantly form protective layer for reducing
accrection formation, long application cycle,etc.
Silica Insulating Fireproof Bricks is mainly used in various parts of the kiln that require heat
insulation or reduce its own weight without direct contact with the
melt, without the action of aggressive gases, or with sudden
temperature changes. When used at high temperature, it must not be
in contact with alkaline refractories. According to different
materials, the maximum service temperature is 1200～1550℃.

saturation is 5 times that of clay bricks.

belong to green environmental protection building materials.
(7) Silica Insulating Fireproof Bricks is also a light-weight heat-insulating brick. It has a higher heat
resistance temperature than light-weight clay bricks. It can be
used in heat-insulating parts to reduce heat loss and increase the
efficiency of the melting process.
