ESTEL’s environmental monitoring systems can protect your outdoor telecom cabinet by implementing climate and power monitoring. Get alert notifications via SNMP when measurements fall outside of specified thresholds.

A wide range of sensors and security devices can be remotely monitored: monitor access, measure temperature, humidity and be alerted by smoke and water leakage. Connect a range of sensors via analogue and digital inputs. Monitor power failure.

Temperature: Temperature sensor probes should be placed strategically around critical equipment to ensure optimal operating temperature conditions.

Humidity: High humidity may lead to corrosion on electronic components and low humidity levels may cause issues with static electricity.

Smoke: Tie in a smoke alarm to the environment monitoring system to get alerts for early smoke detection Ideal for remote locations.

Water: Water sensors can monitor for leaks inside cooling equipment, potential leaks that come from nearby pipes, or water caused by a flood or disaster.

Access Control: Dry-contact sensors that detect the opening and closing of a door should be installed on the doors of UPS cabinets.
