Introduction of Tubular Screw Conveyor
Tubular Screw Conveyor is a kind of conveyor which uses the
rotating spiral blade to move materials and carry out screw
conveying. Screw conveyor, commonly known as auger, is a kind of
conveying equipment widely used in mineral, feed, grain and oil,
construction industry, used to transport powder or solid particles
and other chemical and building materials products.

Principle of Tubular Screw Conveyor
When the screw shaft rotates, due to the gravity of the material
and the friction between the material and the tank wall, the
material can only move forward along the bottom of the conveyor
under the push of the blade. Therefore, the transportation of
materials in the conveyor is completely a sliding movement.

(5) The shell is made of seamless steel pipe, and the ends are
connected with each other into a whole body with good rigidity.
Compared with other conveying equipment, screw conveyor has the
advantages of small cross-section, good sealing performance, stable
and reliable operation, multi-point loading and unloading, safe
operation and easy maintenance.
Application scope of Tubular Screw Conveyor
Tubular Screw Conveyor is widely used in various industrial
sectors, such as building materials, electric power, chemical
industry, metallurgy, aluminum and magnesium, coal and machinery;
it is used to transport powder, granular and small fast materials,
such as cement, coal powder, grain, fertilizer, ash, sand, etc.,
with material temperature below 100 ℃.
Tubular Screw Conveyor is not suitable for the screw machine to
transport materials that are easy to deteriorate, sticky and
caking, because these materials will stick to the screw during
transportation, and then rotate without moving forward, or form a
material accumulation plug at the hanging bearing, which makes the
screw machine unable to work normally.
