What is Laminated Glass Sheets:
Laminated glass is made from two or more pieces of glass with a
thin PVB / SGP / EVA film between each glass and processed with
high temperature and high pressure. It can be made from high grade
float glass, plated glass, tempered glass and curved glass. It
would not crash into fragments when broken, since they are felt by
the film. It would reduce the harm to people by the glass piece
when the glass was broken, since it's not easily penetrated.
What is Reflective Glass:
Reflective glass has a metallic coating to help reflect heat, which
in turn lowers energy costs for the building, as it takes less
energy to regulate the building’s interior temperature. Reflective
glass can give the appearance of a one-way mirror, providing added
privacy for building occupants. Reflective glass uses consist of
forming building facades and interior design pieces.
The metal coating on reflective glass can be added to the hot glass
during the float process. This kind of coating is called a hard
coat and reflective glass with a hard coat can be cut, heat
strengthened or toughened (tempered). The other way of adding a
metal coating to glass is by adding it via a vacuum after the glass
has been finished. This is called a soft coat. A soft coat is more
susceptible to scratches and other damage, so is usually applied to
the inside surface of a glass pane as part of a double-glazed
system.

Laminated Glass Sheets Feature:
1. Safety: The laminated glass installed in the building can still
keep intact in the original frame after being suffered any external
shocks, even if glasses are broken. Personnel inside and outside
the building will not be hurt by flying shards of glass;
2. Anti hurricane and earthquake: it cannot fall to ground and can
remain in situ even if glasses are broken.
3. Blast and ballistic protection: multi-layer laminated glass can
be used to create multiple levels of bullet-proof glasses;
4. UV protection: have great barrier effect for sunlight's
ultraviolet rays; UV Rejection is up to 99%; can avoid ultraviolet
radiation;
5. Sound Control: PVB film has insulation and absorption effects
for sound wave, so that it can reduce noise.
6. Color diversity:Designed into all sorts of products to meet
customers requirements;
7. Sun-blocking:Effectively reducing the heat transmission and
energy consumption.
Application of Reflective Laminated Glass Sheets:
1. Windows: In residential and commercial structures, around 90% of
the heat enters through windows. To counter this, reflective glass
windows are installed for their effective solar-control properties.
2. Curtain walls and Facades: Building Curtain Wall with reflective
laminated glass can minimises heat ingress and solar glare to lower
reliance on AC units, keeping the indoors cooler throughout the
day.
3. Skylights: to reduce overheating and solar glare, skylights made
of reflective glass windows work supremely well. Their solar
control properties are extremely beneficial in absorbing the
majority of UV rays falling on it, lowering heat gain in the
process.
