Metallic car paint refers to a room temperature curing paint with fine metal
particles(like the aluminum powder, copper powder) added to the
paint base. It is a popular automotive top coat currently. When the
light hits the aluminum particles, the paint film looks very
shining. Under different angles, the color and even the contour of
the car will change due to the refraction of the light.
Compared with ordinary paint, the metallic paint not only has high
hardness, but also can show the beauty of the car body. Another
reason why "metallic paint" is becoming more and more common is
that it is blended with metal powder. With metal components, the
hardness of the paint film increases. The paint surface becomes
harder, and the car is less likely to be scratched.
Mixing Ratio
1K Metallic Paint : Thinner = 1: 1-1.2 (volume ratio)
Spraying: wet spray for two to three layers, the flash-off time
between layers is 5-15 minutes.
Shelf Life: At 20 ℃ with original sealed, can store more than 3
years.
