12V 40AH Staring power battery
The monolithic 12V batteries do not have any PCM (any electronics)
inside. They consist of finely balanced cells with identical
perfomace. The battery must be managed and operated as a single
monolithic 12V block.
We do not recommend operation in serial connection. For system with
higher voltage 24/36/48V and more, we recommend to use Single cells
40Ah + BMS123Smart.
Nominal voltage of the battery is 12 V and the operational voltage
is 11,5 V - 15 V.
The maximum charging voltage for initial charge is 15 V.
Recommended subsequent charging is to 14,6 V.
The minimum voltage is 11 V.
Maximum discharge current is 3C continously for max 30 minutes from
full charge.
Operating temperature -25°C up to 80°C (discharging)
Why LiFePO4 over LeadAcid
LifePO4 batteries have a life span 10 times longer than that of
traditional lead acid batteries. This dramatically reduces the need
for battery changes.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries operate with much lower resistance
and consequently recharge at a faster rate.
LifeP04 lightweight batteries are lighter than lead acid batteries,
usually weighing about 1/4 less.
LifeP04 provides twice the battery capacity in the same amount of
space.
With operating ranges from -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, LifePO4
batteries handle far wider variations in temperature.
