K Type KPO Railway Fastening System

Introduction:

Rail fastening system is used for fastening the railway rails and sleepers. The function of rail fastening system is to maintain the gauge and prevent the vertical and horizontal movement of rails relative to the position of the sleeper. A fastening system is usually consist of rail tie plate, spike, clip, rail anchor or other fasteners.

Railway fastening system can be classified into various types, such as E-clip rail fastening system, Nabla clip rail fastening system, SKL clip rail fastening system, KPO clamp rail fastening system, etc. Rail fastening system gives it full play to buffer and absorb the shock that train pressed on the rail. It needs to meet the requirement of enough intensity, durability and certain elasticity, especially with the application of high speed rail and the Improvement of railway security.

In the world the famous KPO fastening system is so good on performance that many countries use it in their own rail tracks. KPO fastening system belongs to clamp fastening system. It includes KPO3, KPO6 and KPO9. Clamp has to be in accordance with DIN, AREAM standards, etc. rail clamp is usually made of low carbon steel by hot forging, rolling and casting.

Clamping plate: A clamping plate is a forged item.The KPO clip is a boltable clip, it is used together with the ribbed baseplate and clip bolt.

Clip bolt: also called hook bolt is used for the fastening of the ribbed baseplate. The most common used ones are HS26, HS32

Ribbed baseplate: It is one type of baseplate we offer, normally it is casted.

Sleeper screw: The sleeper screw is used to fasten the ribbed baseplate to wooden sleepers, when used in the concrete sleeper, it is used together with the plastic dowel.

Fe6 spring washer: It is pre-assembled with the sleeper screw, normally it is used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener.
