What is Switchable Smart Glass:
Switchable Smart glass (also called switchable glass, intelligent
glass, privacy glass or magic glass ) is a kind of high-tech
product can switch from transparent to opaque instantaneously. It
is transparent when power on and it is opaque when power off, light
transmission properties can be changed when voltage is applied.
The glass is composed of toughened glass and smart film which form
a sandwich like structure. The usage of smart glass can provide a more privacy and safety
room.

What Is PDLC Smart Glass Film:
PDLC Smart Film also call privacy smart film, smart pdlc film,
switchable pdlc film, switchable privacy smart pdlc film, smart
glass pdlc film, smart glass film. It is state of the art laminated
glass with a PDLC film interlayer between two sheets of safety
tempered glass. The PDLC film is two layer PET-ITO conducting film
+ Middle inside (LCD) Liquid Crystal Membrane.
The smart film is an intelligent high function glass film, which
has a special characteristic of changing between translucent and
opaque by voltage control. When power off, coming visible light
scatters through the PDLC, and the film turns translucent; When
power on, coming visible light transmits the PDLC and the film
turns clear.

Features of Switchable Smart Glass:

good anti-strike strength.
- Privacy protection function: The main function of smart glass is
privacy protection function, which can control the transparent and
opaque state of the glass at any time.
- Sound insulation characteristics: The smart film in the middle of
the smart glass have sound damping effect. Partially block noise.
- Environmental protection features: the smart film in the middle of
the smart glass can insulate and block more than 99% of ultraviolet
rays and 98% of infrared rays. Shield some infrared rays to reduce
heat radiation and transmission. And shielding ultraviolet rays can
protect indoor furnishings from fading and aging due to ultraviolet
radiation, and protect personnel from diseases caused by direct
ultraviolet rays.
- Projection function: Smart glass is still this very excellent
projection hard screen. In a suitable light environment, if you
choose a high-lumen projector, the projection imaging effect is
very clear and outstanding. (Recommended to use rear projection
imaging method)
