Hot air stream wood chip dryer is a continuous, efficient, and fast solid fluidization drying equipment, which can suspend loose powder granular material scattered in hot air, and remove water instantly in the process of air entrainment, and is suitable for drying the surface water of powder granular material with particle size ranging from 5μm ~ 0.5mm.

The high-temperature hot air in the hot air stream wood chip dryer flows in the drying tube at a high speed, and the residence time is very limited. Therefore, it is generally only suitable for the constant-speed drying process in which the unbound water of the material undergoes surface evaporation. Practice shows that in the presence of moisture in these states, granular materials can be dried in the air-flow drying tube, and a product with a moisture content of 0.3% to 0.5% can be obtained. As for the wet material whose moisture content diffuses and migrates in the material, it is totally unsuitable for the air drying process.

Maintenance of hot air stream wood chip dryer

1. Check the automatic drain valve on the pre-filter before each shift every day.
2. Check the normal operation of tower changing and pressure boosting.
3. Check the operating conditions, inlet pressure, inlet temperature, and air flow.
4. Check the moisture indicator, blue means dry, and pink means wet.
5. Check whether the muffler is dirty and clogged, if the backwash pressure of the regeneration tower is too high, the muffler needs to be replaced.
6. Check the pressure drop of pre-filter and rear filter, if the pressure drop is over 0.5 bar, replace the filter element.
