consideration. It is in the form of extruded bars, rods, wire,
tubing, and profiles. And magnesium is the lightest structural
metal with a density of 1.74 g/cm3 in its solid state. As the
material is highly flammable, safe storage and disposal of
magnesium dust and swarf are critical, since any exposure to water
is hazardous.
