2KW Lab Rotary Evaporator

The R-1005 Rotary Evaporator adopts stepless speed regulation to make the glass rotating flask rotate at a constant speed. Materials can form a large area of uniform thin film on the wall of the flask. Then the rotating flask is heated evenly by the intelligent constant temperature water bath, and the material is evaporated rapidly under the vacuum condition. The solvent steam is recycled in the receiving flask after being cooled by the high efficiency glass condenser.

The R-1005 Rotary Evaporator is a new product of our company. This series have four specifications available, including the products of 5L, 10L, 20L and 50L.

The R-1005 Rotary Evaporator has made new breakthrough based on inheriting the excellent performance of RE-1002 series, mainly as follows:

1. The vacuum pressure gauge can display the real-time vacuum, and the oil table have the anti-vibration performance.
2. Controlled by the check valve, the R-1010A Rotary Evaporator can realize the continuous feeding and be available for the vacuum switch under the working condition.
3. The latest integrated handwheel valves are adopted, having a better sealing performance and much easier operation.
4. The water bath is lifted and lowered electrically by adopting the deceleration booster motor, making the lifting and lowering process more stable.
5. The rotary evaporator has the function of over-temperature safety protection. When the actual temperature exceeds the 5 degrees centigrade of the setting temperature, the rotary evaporator will power off automatically to stop heating.
6. If the rotary evaporator powers off suddenly during the working, it will stop heating automatically when turning on the power again.

1. Q: What factor decides the working efficiency of a rotary evaporator?
   For same type equipment, mainly includes: steam temperature, vacuum degree and cooling water temperature. Restricted by some material's thermolability, the steam temperature may have certain limitation when working, so high vacuum degree and low cooling water temperature are two main factors for efficiency improving (can select cryopump to lower the temperature)
2. Q: What's the difference between vertical and inclined condenser?
   They have no difference essentially. Vertical condenser is gradually popular because of its small space usage and convenience for transportation and use. Most high-capacity instruments use vertical condenser.
3. Q: How about the anti-explosion ability of R series Rotary Evaporators?
   Our company's Rotary Evaporator adopt alternating current dynamo, stepless speed regulating (or frequency control), no electric brush and no spark in operation. Water bath kettle which goes with the evaporator adopts nitrogen-sealed relay control, silicon-controlled contactless switch and vacuum switch. Manual control switch adopt twice circuit control which make electric current less than 3mA and has favorable anti-explosion feature.
