Structure&Features of Floating Type Dog Food Pellet Making Machine:
1. Ripening: the material is fully matured in about 10 seconds, and the
extruding temperature varies with different raw materials,
generally ranging from 120 ℃ to 175 ℃. Ripening can destroy growth
inhibitory factors, finish processing without oxygen in a very
short time, help to preserve the content of protein, energy and
vitamins, reduce the browning of products due to oxidation, improve
the digestibility and palatability of products.
2. Sterilization and detoxification: after high temperature and high pressure treatment, a large number
of pathogenic microorganisms in the materials are killed (such as
Escherichia coli, Salmonella, protozoa, residual pesticides, etc.),
which can effectively prevent white scour, yellow dysentery and
edema, improve the survival rate of piglets, and be beneficial to
the health of livestock and poultry.
3. Extrusion molding: the sudden pressure drop of raw materials after continuous high
pressure can cause gelatinization of starch cells and rupture of
oil cells, and can be processed into the required product status.
4. Product homogenization: the material has been crushed or mixed before extruding, and the
friction and shear effect of screw and steam plug in the extrusion
cavity will further mix and crush the material, which is conducive
to the homogenization of the final product.
5. Dehydration: when the extruded material leaves the feed pellet extruder, due to
the high temperature and high pressure in the cavity, the internal
moisture immediately evaporates (flash evaporation), which is very
beneficial for storage.
6. Enhance the stability: the high temperature and high pressure in the extrusion cavity can
passivate the enzyme causing corruption in the material, avoid the
rapid destruction of nutrients in the material in a short time, and
enhance the stability of the product storage process.
7. Good palatability: the extruded material has unique flavor and fluffy feeling, good
palatability, high gelatinization, and good attractiveness.
