Bronze bushings (also called bronze bearings or solid bronze bushings) are tough and robust, unlike softer brass bushings. The bronze bushings have a long life and resist shocks, knocks, wear and corrosion. They require an external lubricant, such as grease or oil, during installation and during operation to reduce friction and wear.
