Product Overview
Witt Ceramics is a professional manufacturer of zirconia shaped
ceramics. In terms of structural ceramics, zirconia ceramics are
widely used in the field of structural ceramics due to their
advantages of high toughness, high flexural strength and high wear
resistance, excellent thermal insulation performance, and thermal
expansion coefficient close to that of steel. Mainly include: Y-TZP
grinding balls, dispersing and grinding media, nozzles, ball valve
ball seats, zirconia molds, miniature fan shafts, fiber optic pins,
fiber optic sleeves, drawing dies and cutting tools, wear-resistant
knives, watch cases and Watch straps, light golf bats and other
room temperature wear-resistant zero devices.
Zirconium oxide is also resistant to the erosion of molten metal,
so it is often used as a smelting crucible for metals such as
platinum and heat generators above 1800 °C, furnaces, and reactor
insulation materials. In particular, zirconia as an additive can
greatly improve the strength and toughness of ceramic materials.
The strength of the zirconia toughened alumina ceramic material is
1200MPa, and the fracture toughness is 15.0, which is three times
and nearly three times higher than the original alumina,
respectively. Its kang corrosivity can be used to line the ladle of
the ladle and to be the gate brick in continuous cast steel.
Zirconium oxide can be used to manufacture engine components due to
its high strength and excellent toughness (compression strength at
room temperature can reach 2100 MPa, 1190 MPa at 1000 °C, flexural
strength of toughened ceramic at room temperature can reach up to
2000 MPa).
