Angular Contact Thrust Bearings Key Feature

Bearings of BTM Series consist of two non-separable single row
angular contact ball bearings arranged back to back, to carry
thrust loads in both directions. When mounted, the bearings become
preloaded.
Angular Contact Thrust Bearings Advantages
These high speed design bearings are available with fitted with 30°
contact angle or 40° contact angle.
They have the same bore and outside diameter as bearings in the
2344(00) series, but a 25% lower bearing height, which makes them
particularly suitable for very compact arrangements. They do not
have the same high load carrying capacity and axial stiffness as
bearings in the 2344(00)series,but can operate at higher speeds.
BTM series bearings are capable of high speed operations and lower
heat generation whiles maintaining high rigidity. BTM series
bearings with special width dimension bearing spacer can
successfully replace the 2344 series bearings in case of unchanged
with shaft and bearing housing.
