Austenitic Type Stainless Steel
This micro-structure is by alloying steel with sufficient nickel or

Stainless steels are cheap than austenitic steel products, which

Power plates fuel cells operating temperatures around 700 °C (1,292
°F) (high-chromium ferritics containing 22% Cr)
Automobile exhaust pipes (Type 409 are used in North America;
stabilized grades 441 are used in Europe)
Nitrogen-Alloyed Martensitic Stainless Steels
Though PER is expensive, lower but nitrogen contents have been
achieved by argon oxygen decarburization process.
Replacing some carbon in martensitic stainless steels by nitrogen
is a recent development. The limited solubility of nitrogen can be
increased by the pressure electroslag refining process, in which
melting is carried out. Steel containing up to 0.411% nitrogen is
achieved, lead higher hardness and higher corrosion resistance.
