Tungsten Carbide Drag Drill Bit for Rock Drilling
Product Description:
A drag bit is usually designed for soft formations such as sand,
clay or some soft rock. However, they will not work well in coarse
gravel or hard rock formations. Uses include drilling water wells,
mining, geothermal, environmental and exploration drilling.
Whenever possible, they should be used to drill pilot holes because
they produce cuttings that are easiest to log.
Three-wing bits tend to drill faster, whereas four-wing bits are
longer-lasting, more durable, and drill a straighter hole.
Application of PDC drag drill bit
Drag bits are applied to rock formation f≤6,like mudstone, shale,
sandstone, etc., mainly used for drain hole, grouting hole,
geological and hydrology drilling, etc.

Our supplies a variety of drag bits for many types of projects
drilling needs, including 3-wing type bits for soft and medium
formations, 4-wing, especially 4-wing chevron type for harder
formations. Each of our bits is machined from a forging to exacting
standards and then tipped with tungsten carbide. Mining grade
tungsten carbide tips are brazed to the bit wing face for heavy
duty bits. The pin threads are CNC manufactured and wings surfaces
hardening subsequently.
