The Mitsubishi A1SY10 (A1S-Y10) is a relay contact output control
module from Mitsubishi's Melsec-A series. Its weight is 0.55 pounds
(0.25kg). As with the other types of A1S output modules, the
insulation method for this A1SY10 is a photocoupler (or otherwise
known as an optocoupler or an optical isolator) which transmits
electrical signal between two sequestered circuits via infrared
light through a diaphanous insulator. There is a LED indicator
imbedded in the A1SY10 to signify itis operating.
The A1SY10 has a number of 16 output point with a rated switching
for its voltage and current is 24V DC/2 AMP or 240V AC/2 AMP. The
minimum switching load of this module is 5VDC and 1mA; the maximum
switching voltage, 125VDC or 264V AC. The A1SY10's maximum
switching frequency is 3600 times per hour. The internal current
consumption with 5V DC is 120mA when all points are on. The time is
takes for the output control module to respond is less than 10ms
when turning it on and less than 12ms when turning it off.
The A1SY10 output control module will transform digital values to
output values, after thisis done it outputs the voltage and
current. As one out of six A1S output modules, it acts as a
reliable interface between the A1S PLC system (to which it outputs
to)and other output mechanisms with its 20 point terminal block
connector. Wire sizes that are apposite for the Mitsubishi A1SY10's
M3.5 x 7 screws, which are in the terminal block connectors, can
only extend from 0.75 to 1.25mm2 in diameter.
