3000lbs Forged 1/8" ASME B16.11 Socket Weld Pipe Fittings

Forged socket weld pipe fittings are produced in conform with ASTM A182 and ASME B16.11, and available available in material of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.

ASTM A182 standard specification covers forged or rolled alloy and stainless steel pipe flanges, forged fittings, and valves and parts for high-temperature service. After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a specific temperature prior to heat treatment, which shall be performed in accordance with certain requirements such as heat treatment type, austenitizing/solution temperature, cooling media, and quenching.

ASME B16. 11 is the standard for the forged steel fittings, including socket weld and threaded type. Material including carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. Also described as Class 2000, 3000, 6000 threaded end fittings and Class 3000, 6000, and 9000 for socket weld end fittings.
