Intended Use:
SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Lateral Flow Immunoassay, LFI) is
intended for the
in vitro qualitative detection of the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid (N)
antigen from human
nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swabs, sputa and saliva specimens.
Testing Principle:
SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test is based on the lateral flow
immunoassay. The kit
has a colloid gold conjugated mouse anti-SARS-CoV-2 N protein
monoclonal antibody contained
in the sample pad. It also has a SARS-CoV-2 N protein monoclonal
antibody pre-coated on the
detection line (T) of the membrane strip. If the tested specimen
contains the SARS-CoV-2 N
antigen, the two monoclonal antibodies and the N antigen form a
gold antibody–antigen–antibody
complex, and a visible purple band may appear at the detection line
(T). Also, another visible
purple band may appear at the control line (C), indicating the
accurate performance of the test.
