1/4" hydraulic control line is mainly used for the control of the well subsurface ety valve and cable packer relief valve. It will be connected to subsurface ety valve and air valve. Through changing the pressure on the ground, people can control opening and closing of the subsurface ety valve and cable packer valve in oil and gas well. When the pressure reaches a certain value, the subsurface ety valve and cable packer valve will open at the same time and then oil and gas wells can produce normally. At the same time, the gas from electric submersible pump can also be vented through the vent valve. In case of a blowout or normal shut-in, people just need to release the pressure of control lines, so as to make the subsurface ety valve and cable packer valve closed at the same time as well as well tubing and annulus flow channel plugged, which will ensure the ety of the well. The 1/4" hydraulic control line can also be used solely for subsurface ety valve control. It can also be used for pressure control of surface ety valve and other surface valves, as well as various connecting lines of instrument control system for oil and gas field drilling and oil production large-scale equipment.

For 1/4" hydraulic control line, Tiptop can provide wall thickness of 0.02", 0.028" and 0.035", 0.049", 0.065" and 0.083", made from Austenitic steel 304L (UNS S30403), Austenitic steel 316L (UNS S31603), Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 & S31803), Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750), Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) and Inconel 625 (UNS N06625). All control lines comply with ASTM-A 269, ASTM-A 632, ASTM-A 789 and ASTM-B 704. The range of working pressure to adapt is 60-120 Mpa.
