The Portable Trace Explosives Detector -PRO adopts the latest
fluorescent polymer sensing technology, based on the fluorescence
quenching effect of TNT and other explosive molecules on some
special fluorescent polymers. When the target explosive molecules
are combined with the fluorescent polymer molecules, the
fluorescent polymer emits light. The fluorescence intensity of the
polymer changes instantaneously, and the presence of explosives in
the surrounding environment can be identified by detecting the
change of the fluorescence intensity of the polymer.
PRO can quickly and accurately detect more than 40 kinds of
military and civilian explosives. There is no radioactive source
inside the instrument to ensure safe use. At the same time, it has
