Product Details
This system is intended to be used in conjunction with a variety of
3-phase AC motors. The system provides protection from electrical
and thermal harm to the motor via resistor thermal detectors (RTDs)
and current transformers (CTs). The power input to the control is
either 80- 300 VDC or 65-265 VAC and 50-60 Hz. The maximum power
consumption is 20 VA and 100 ms at 120VAC/125 VDC. The RTD sensors
for this device are 100 ohm Platinum sensors. They have a display
accuracy of ±2°C, and they have a setpoint range 0 - 200°C. The
sensors have a dead band at 3°C. The sensors also have 25% of the
resistance at 0°C.
The Multilin digital motor management relay
269PLUS-DO-225-100P-HI-125VDC is configured with a 225 option code.
The second specification for phase and ground CT indicates that
each are in the :5 category. The second specification for a relay
fail safe code (up to eight options) shows that the Trip is NFS,
the Alarm is fail safe (FS), the Aux1 is NFS, and the Aux2 is also
FS. The final numeric is the fifth option in regard to relay
contact arrangement. The fifth option specifies a N.C., N.O., N.O.,
arrangement for the Alarm, the Aux1, and the Aux2 respectively.
The General Electric Multilin digital relay
269PLUS-DO-225-100P-HI-125VDC provides the user with the option to
select from up to eight programmable overload curves, standard to
the manufacturer's fixed rotor time capability. Additionally, the
operator is able to program a curve that is custom to the motor by
entering in the service factor as the pickup level for the
overload. This feature is called the FlexCurve (TM) function as it
allows formation of a flexible custom curve tailored to the
specific motor by the 269PLUS-DO-225-100P-HI-125VDC GE.
