Flywheel:
The flywheel of compound cone crusher is generally equipped with
two flywheels, symmetrical arrangement, one of which doubles as a
belt wheel. In the small crusher, there are also the use of a
flywheel (and belt pulley); Technical personnel in the design of
flywheel, generally first given a diameter, and then according to
the moment of inertia to determine the flywheel mass. For cast iron
flywheels, the circumferential speed shall not be greater than
30m/s.
Flywheel is a wheel-shaped accumulator with a large moment of
inertia mounted on the rotating shaft of a machine. When the
machine speed increases, the kinetic energy of the flywheel
increases, storing energy; When the machine speed decreases, the
flywheel kinetic energy decreases, releasing energy. Flywheels can
be used to reduce speed fluctuations during mechanical operation.
Flywheel main function:
The flywheel is a large disc-shaped part of the engine mounted on
the back end of the crankshaft. It has a large moment of inertia
and has the following functions:
(1) Part of the energy of the engine working stroke is stored to
overcome the resistance of other strokes and make the crankshaft
rotate evenly.
(2) Through the clutch installed on the flywheel, the engine and
the automobile transmission system is connected.
(3) Equipped with a gear ring engaged with the starter, easy to
start the engine.
