Introduction Of Long Stem Cryogenic Ball Valve
The flow diameter of cryogenic ball valves is larger than that of
similar globe valves. This ball valve provides faster opening and
closing movement and is suitable for storage tank applications and
cryogenic pumps, pipelines or low-pressure trailers with "zero"
leakage. Low-temperature ball valves are available in various sizes
and operating temperatures range from +80°C to -196°C. Cryogenic
ball valves are widely used in extremely low temperature and low
temperature applications, including but not limited to liquefied
natural gas, industrial gas, spirit and steel services, mining,
pharmaceutical, sewage, water treatment, carbon dioxide
injection/mixing, cooling, and oil/gas applications.
Feature Of Long Stem Cryogenic Ball Valve
The cryogenic ball valve has an innovative free floating ball
design that allows upstream pressure to push the ball towards the
downstream valve seat. The higher the pressure, the greater the
seating force and torque required to operate the cryogenic ball
valve. This ball valve has a spring seal, which can provide low
torque under ambient conditions and low temperature conditions.
The working medium temperature of the cryogenic ball valve is low,
toxic, flammable and explosive. Therefore, the cryogenic ball valve
must maintain good performance in a relatively low temperature
environment. In most cases, the body, valve plate and other
equipment of cryogenic ball valves use special materials made of
cryogenic carbon steel. In addition, the rigidity, toughness and
processing characteristics of this material greatly improve the
working performance of cryogenic ball valves.
